It was friendship day 7th Aug 2011 when we friends decided to meet just for coffee. We all being avid traveler we decided to plan trip. We were doubtful about the plan because before this we made many plans and landed up doing nothing. Plans we made on that day were interesting...started with nightout at Shivangi's place, Devgad(kokan),Andaman, Bangkok etc. Finally we decided with Devgad(Kokan) as we felt its safest as Shruti has already visited and know lot of things there and she was ready for second visit.
We decided to take ST(State Transport) first mistake which took around 8-9hrs. On the other hand car would have been time and cost efficient because I feel it took us almost same cost as four of us were traveling. Though I know driving, friends had no confidence in me. Also I don't want to try my driving skills at place where I have never been before. Taking driver was option but we thought my be some other time. We had booking at hotel Galaxy in Devgad. The rooms had sea view, the first thing that impressed us. Since it was off -season we were the only ones in hotel. We wanted to have our lonely planet.

The beauty of Kokan in monsoon is a must see thing. Lush green environment with ocean at its best. Since it was shravan we were happy to visit so many unique lord shiva temples but at same time were not able to enjoy sea food. We had food at Salaskar veg hotel near ST stand. The food was good. One of our friend was Punjabi so she enjoyed marathi thali and we being marathi enjoyed Punjabi food.
The night at hotel room is separate topic in itself....Four unmarried girls you can imagine the chapper chapper we did the entire night. Only thing we missed was drinks. I think the hotel manager was lucky here.
Next morning we just had plan to visit the sea shore and make our own sand fort there. So we did not mind spending entire night chit chatting. After lunch we decided to take a nap for an hour or 2 before we start packing again. No one wanted to go back home but was not much choice left we had to catch 5:30PM ST from devgad bus stand. We left the place with one promise that we will do another one soon.
While checking out the Hotel manager explicitly mentioned that it was his first experience with only girls visiting their place. The driver of our scorpio was happy too he felt like Sri krushna driving Arguna (We girls are not less than Argun). I feel his task was more difficult than Lord Sri Krishna :)
